I work as a Research Scientist in the
Physics Department at Princeton
University and I am a member of the
WMAP (Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe) Science Working Group.
In particularI have been involved in the optics design and testing, in the
feed design and fabbrication and in the assembly and characterization
of the WMAP radiometers. I am now involved in WMAP's Integration
and Testing phase which is currently undergoing at NASA/GSFC.
Since my graduate school years I have been interested in cosmology
and in particular in measuring the spectrum and the anisotropies
of the cosmic microwave background radiation. To learn more about
my previous research activities please take a look at my
Curriculum and my list of publications.
I was born in Milano Italy in 1961 (August 6) and I lived there
until 1989 when I won a fellowship to do research abroad.
I was suppose to stay in Berkeley for about 6 months but I ended
up working there for nearly 5 years. I then moved to the Bartol
Research Institute at the University
of Delaware and after 2.5 years I joined the Physics
Department at Princeton
University.
